Offord has been described as a dedicated public servant determined to make a difference in the lives of those who see financial freedom as only a dream. Always allowing her passions to direct her life path, she is a real estate managing broker, an author, an educator and an entrepreneur.
Offord credits her success to the early influence of her grandmother who demonstrated the advantages of entrepreneurship. She began her first business in 1995 with marketing consulting primarily in the non-profit sector. She went on to pursue other endeavors including a publishing company where she self-published a fiction novel in 2005.
Reaching to her marketing and entrepreneurial roots once again, in 2006, Offord began a career in the real estate industry. From 2006 to 2015 she worked at Supreme Manor Real Estate, a small brokerage in Chicago. It is from the experience of working in a “collaborative atmosphere” that she credits making her a stronger and well-rounded broker. She holds a real estate managing broker’s license and previously a life and health insurance license, a Series 6 and a Series 63 Securities license.
In 2015, she opened her own brokerage, Offord & Associates Real Estate in Chicago where she has enjoyed much success. She is a member of Mainstreet Organization of Realtors, the Chicago Association of Realtors, the Illinois and National Association of Realtors. She has also served as a past Board of Directors member for the Chicago Association of Realtors Education Foundation.
In all that Offord undertakes professionally and personally, she is devoted to promoting financial freedom and actively performing community service. She conducts free financial workshops and has written several blogs devoted to promoting wealth and financial responsibility. She has also served as keynote speaker for graduations, workshops, community empowerment fairs and various other events.
Offord is a Chicago native who received a Bachelors of Arts degree from Columbia College and a Master of Science Degree from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism.
