The National Association of Mortgage Brokers has recognized two members of the Fathom Holdings family.

Wayne King and Paul Marsh, both of whom are principals in Encompass Lending Group, a 2021 acquisition of Fathom’s, were honored by the Association at its recent annual meeting in Las Vegas.

King, a licensed mortgage lender and founder of Encompass, was named the organization’s Mortgage Professional of the Year. He was chosen from a list of nominees made by the general membership.

“I am very humbled and proud to have served NAMB and the industry in this capacity. So many individuals state they are active in serving the mortgage industry but very few do. I chose to be one of the few and will continue to do so throughout my career,” reflects King.

King, a mortgage professional for more than 20 years, was cited for his high level of expertise, outstanding participation in industry groups and community service contributions.

King served as Treasurer of the national brokers’ group and is an active member of local and state associations. King also has represented the mortgage industry on Capitol Hill advocating for industry standards and initiatives.

Marsh, also a licensed lender and chief financial officer at Encompass, was given the group’s Leadership Award.

“It is a privilege to serve an industry that has been so instrumental to my career. The honor from NAMB is deeply appreciated and provides motivation to continue to serve this great industry and the people who make it their profession,” says Marsh.

Marsh has vast experience in the business, real estate, service, insurance, technology and manufacturing sectors. In addition to his role at Encompass, Marsh is the Chief Financial Officer for Dagley Insurance Agency and Real Systems Sales Results, other 2021 Fathom acquisitions. In addition, he has owned several companies in these industries throughout his career.

He is a member of the Texas Society of CPAs, the American Institute of CPAs, and Financial Executives International. In addition, he has volunteered with Junior Achievement, as well as local sports groups.
